Bulgarian alphabet poster with Adys font – printed and handwritten letters.
A poster with the Bulgarian alphabet, showing the letters in printed and handwritten forms. The letters are divided into groups according to their sounds. Created with the Adys font to facilitate reading for people with dyslexia. This educational resource is suitable for preschoolers, elementary school students. As well as for all of them who do not experience difficulties on the dyslexia spectrum.
The first letter of each square visualizes print layout as the most basic form that begins the process of learning about letters. The following are presented in the Adys font in the Bulgarian form of Cyrillic. And on the second line is the handwritten spelling, which is studied in the primary school in Bulgaria – Krasnopis. Note that for some letters these forms may be very far from each other.

For the letters “A” and “T”, additional forms of the lowercase letters have been added, which are used in parallel in different fonts.
The poster has non-distracting colors and graphics in order to keep the attention only on the letters themselves. They are divided into groups according to the types of sounds they represent. Red represents the vowels – А, Е, И, О, У, Ъ. Blue represents the voiced consonants – Б, В, Г, Д, Ж, З. Green represents the voiceless consonants – К, П, С, Т, Ф, Х, Ц, Ч, Ш. Yellow represents the sonorous consonants – Л, М, Н, Р, Й. Purple represents the letters composed of two sounds – Щ, Ю, Я. And gray represents our only letter without its own sound – ь.
